Rosefinch collection - ZaoZuo

2015

For Hutten’s first Chinese client Richard designed the Rosefinch collection, named after the south gate of Beijing.
The starting point for the bed was not the sleeping but the making of the bed. In order to make that easy, he opened up the corner of the bed. This detail gives a lot of identity to the piece, making the frame look like a ribben around the mattress. The night stands hang on the bed frame, allowing the user to place them anywhere they like, including at the feet of the bed.
The same detail was then used to create the cabinets. These cabinets have leather handles, adding a touch of luxury to the whole.
