Every year Offecct asks one of their designers to design a USB stick which they give away to the press with all the images of their new products. For 2015 they asked Richard. On his key chain Richard has a round medallion. He wanted to make a key mediation with a function. Since he had a solo exhibition that year in the Offecct showroom in Stockholm, which was titled ‘Drawing Circles’ the Usb stick had to be round. The shape comes from the stones of Richard’s favourite board game Go or Weiqi in Chinese. This shape allows the stick to be very easy lifted up from the table.
