Zzzidt object - Gispen

2000

Richard Hutten designed the Zzzidt-object originally for the gardens of the Centraal Museum Utrecht. He was asked to make tables and chair for their garden. In stead of this he made a mobile stool-table based on a bouncing ball for kids. He did not use a soft material, like the toy, he used a hard plastic. He added two flat sides, so you can sit on it, or use it as a small table. He kept the handle so you can move around the light weight object easily.
The piece is part of the permanent collection of the Centraal Museum Utrecht, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Museum für Konkrete Kunst, Iglostadt.
